"As you may know, every Ollivander's wand has a core of a Powerful Magical Substance. We have always used Phoenix Feathers, Dragon Heartstring and Unicorn hair, but with things the way are it's getting harder to get supplies. Because of this we have made a deal with an American Company and have added three new cores: Gryffon Feather, Kelpie Hair and Veela Hair - though I find the Veela hair too unstable for my personal taste. Still, it is the wand that chooses the wizard, you know, and you'll never get results quite as fine as those from an Ollivander wand."
